The Jumu’ah prayer is temporarily held at the following address: ’t Couvent Ontmoetingscentrum, Kanunnik Decoeneplein 8310 Bruges. All other prayers are held at Hertogenstraat 73, 8200 Bruges

Classrooms, library, and moreThe board of the CICB has been searching for a new, suitable building for a long time where they can bring all Muslims together in a safe and pleasant way. That was a huge challenge. And Alhamdulillah, we have finally found the ideal place and signed a contract to purchase a large building with parking. We will also have enough space for classrooms, a library, meeting rooms, and a gathering place. The library and classrooms will be used to provide Arabic and Quran lessons to children, youth, and adults by experienced, pedagogically trained teachers.

مَنْ بَنَى مَسْجِدًا لِلَّهِ كَمَفْحَصِ قَطَاةٍ ، أوْ أَصْغَرَ ، بَنَى اللَّهُ لَهُ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِWhoever builds a mosque, even if it is like the nest of a sand grouse, seeking thereby the Face of Allah, Allah will build for him its equivalent in Paradise. [Ibn Majah no. 738]
إِنَّمَا يَعۡمُرُ مَسَٰجِدَ ٱللَّهِ مَنۡ ءَامَنَ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ ٱلۡأٓخِرِ وَأَقَامَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتَى ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَلَمۡ يَخۡشَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهَۖ فَعَسَىٰٓ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ أَن يَكُونُواْ مِنَ ٱلۡمُهۡتَدِينَIndeed, the mosques of Allah are only to be maintained by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and establish prayer and give zakat and do not fear except Allah. It is they who are expected to be among the guided. [Surah At-Tawbah, Ayah 18]
